Barokowe miasto - Fulda
Hallo!
Odkąd wyjechałam z Polski i jestem tu, w Niemczech minął już dobry miesiąc. Przez ten czas udało mi się nie tylko znaleźć pracę w restauracji jako pomoc kuchenna, ale też nieco lepiej poznać topografię miasta, w którym jestem.
Fulda (bo taka jest nazwa miejscowości) położona jest w centralnych Niemczech (Hesja) i oddalona o blisko 100 km od Frankfurtu nad Menem. Jest to miasto historyczne, będące niegdyś siedzibą biskupów niemieckich. Ze względu na dużą liczbę zabytków datowanych na XVIII wiek, miasto to zyskało przydomek "barokowe". Z resztą sami zobaczcie dlaczego :)

Katolicka katedra bez wątpienia jest symbolem Fuldy i sercem miasta. To właśnie koło niej organizowane są liczne festiwale i eventy.

Charakterystyczną cechą Fuldy są pojedyncze obiekty architektoniczne (szczególnie kościoły), które wręcz wybijają się ponad miasto. Cóż, okazały się na tyle pomocne, że już pierwszego dnia dałam sobie spokój z Google Maps i spacerowałam zapamiętując wygląd poszczególnych budynków i nazwy ulic.

Fasadę Pałacu we Fuldzie jadąc do pracy mijam codziennie, jednak dopiero po jakimś czasie postanowiłam wejść na dziedziniec, zobaczyć bryłę i byłam nieco zaskoczona wielkością rezydencji.

Miejscem, gdzie człowiek może się odprężyć, odpocząć jest park. Powietrze jest tu chłodniejsze. szczególnie podczas upałów. dlatego czasami przesiaduję tu godzinami. Poza tym, zawsze jest okazja, aby porozmawiać z ludźmi i podszkolić się w języku niemieckim.

W odróżnieniu od Polski, Niemcy są bardzo zróżnicowane kulturowo i religijnie. Widać to dosłownie wszędzie: w marketach, na ulicy, na basenie. Nawet rozmawiając z moimi rówieśnikami, wielu z nich przyznaje się do rosyjskich, polskich czy też tureckich korzeni.

Powyżej zdjęcie z moją drogą do miasta. Tereny są wyżynne i górskie, co odczuwam w szczególności jadąc rowerem. Podobno miałam się tu upodobnić do Niemek, lecz na razie dziennie jeżdżę po ok. 25 km, więc idzie mi ciężko. Pozdrawiam
